I have an HP Envy laptop (HP ENVY Laptop 13-ba 2020) - the touch screen has stopped working.
The system info shows no touchscreen. Word is also not detecting pen input.
No pen or touch input is available for this display.
The HP assistant cannot test the touch screen.
The HID - Touch screen is not showing even when showing the hidden devices
All Windows updates are current.
If there is physical damage or connection problem would it behave this way?
Which driver I need to install from Hp?

Finally the touch screen is back. What worked for me is one of the following not sure which.
disable the graphic cards from the device manger
restart
go to https://catalog.update.microsoft.com/ search for nextwindow
download extract install restart
go to the command prompt as administrator
msdt.exe /id WindowsUpdateDiagnostic
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
enter bios from uefi
restore default settings (I believe this solves the issue)
try to restore firmware
restart
enable the graphic cards from the device manger
Touch screen is back.
