OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b0000 (472J1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a continuous problem with my OMEN 16.1 Laptop.

It is only 4 months old, but since I bought it it has an issue with the touch pad becoming intermittent and non-responsive.  At this point in time I feel like returning it to HP for a refund, as a laptop of this caliber should definitely not behave this way.

I have followed all the prompts from the community to ensure the drivers and BIOS are as per the recommended on the website. But the problem persists. Only a reboot or a disabling of the touch pad and re-enabling it activates its function again for a bit, and shortly after that, it starts playing up again.  I simply cannot keep enabling and disabling the touch pad every few minutes, just so that it can be used.

Does anyone have any more ideas on this, besides rebooting, disabling/enabling and updates, as none of those are sustainable solutions to the problem.  How does one get HP involved. My HP service centers are miles away.

Thanks for your prompts on the above troubleshooting. It does however make no difference and the problem persists.
