HP Pavillion TouchSmart
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dots keep appearing on the right side of my screen as if an invisable finger is tapping up and down on it.  My brother in law said he thought my screen might simply be dirty, but I tried wiping it off with a soft cloth, and it still keeps doing this thing.

It's very annoying because I'll be in the middle of a task and then my computer will click on something else on the right side of my screen.

If I keep my screen tilted at just the right angle, the dots will stop appearing.

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that are facing an issue with the touchscreen on your computer. Where the screen behaves like someone is touching the screen without you having to touch the screen.

Don't worry, I will be glad to help.

Was there any liquid spill or induced damage on the computer?

May I know the product number of your computer? Please run HP Support Assistant on your computer to get the product details on your screen.

Recommend you to run HP Support Assistant to make sure all the drivers are updated. Click here for assistance.
