Dear Hp

My Touchpad Driver gets automatically uninstalled and when I install it again, it shows that "This driver does not support current version of OS" .

I have been facing this issue since May,2020 it's been more than 80-90 times I have been contacting with Hp, but my issue is never resolved.

I have did 40 times reset(factory reset) , 10000 times restart, 9 times windows reinstalled, updated everything time to time, BIOS is update, each app and each driver is up to date and Windows is up-to date , Now I think there is no option left than to crush the laptop into pieces.

I would never recommend anyone to by any HP Product.

Anyone who is reading this comment please never buy any HP Product they guys make customer fool.

I have lost my 94k rupees in purchasing the laptop because in turn of 94000 rupees HP gave me stress , very bad feelings of using it's PC. Even it might be that I have to move to consumer court for justice since the PC is like hell , almost every day I have to lost my all day in reinstalling the driver , windows to fix the issue but it never works .

I would like to request to all people of the world never ever trust HP. They guys make us fool.

@Jchy, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand that touchpad has stopped working on your PC.

As you mentioned that touchpad is not getting listed in the device manager.

Have you tried checking with an external mouse? Does the external mouse work?

BIOS is updated?

Please try the steps recommended below.

Click the Device Settings or the Click Pad Settings tab of Mouse Properties. If you have a Synaptic device, the tab includes the Synaptic icon.

Select the desired touchpad under the Devices list, and then click either Enable to turn on the device.

On some touchpads, you can turn the Touchpad on or off by double-tapping in the upper-left corner of the Touchpad. Double-tap to turn the Touchpad on, repeat to turn the Touchpad off.

Refer to this article to further troubleshoot touchpad issues.

If the issue still persists please provide the product number of your PC.

I will try to find the best driver available for your PC

Keep me posted. Happy to help!
