Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Went to use my laptop this morning and the display started to flicker and went blank.  Hit several keys on the keyboard and it came back then went out again. Ran HP diagnostics but unable to complete the touch pad diagnostic because every time I touch the pad my screen goes out.  Any suggestions?  I have a dispute in regarding the warranty since I just purchased this in December 2021.  Hopefully I will be able to get the warranty and have tech support help me.  In the mean time, I just can't use the touch pad luckily I have a touchscreen.

Thanks for responding.  I found a suggest to update the BIOS and did, that fixed it.
