My touchpad came defective from the manufacturer. It will be replaced and if that doesn't work, I'll need to replace the notebook.  Things I tried and didn't work for me, but may work for you:

-Update the driver

- Update Windows  10 and all HP pending updates

- Update BIOS

- change sensitivity of touchpad

Good luck

Anyone? Please.

What were you doing when it stopped working?

Were there any updates done at the time or before it quit working?

I was watching NBA. As I am from Europe, time difference is huge so I fell asleep during a game. When I woke up laptop was in rest mode. Then I shut down the laptop, after few hours I turned it on, and touchpad wasn't working. Nothing changed since then. If i remember correctly, there was update before it quit working.

After I updated BIOS, touchpad started working again. I hope it'll stay like that. Thank you for help. Cheers!
