when I hold down the "right click" button on the touchpad and the "left click" button at the same time it gives no response, however, when I do it separately it works. Is this normal? How do I change it so that I can also use the left click button?
An example to recreate this could be by first holding down the right click button. Next try to hold down the left click button and try to select text, you could even be holding the right click button and press the left click button multiple times to try select text and it still won't select any text. You would notice that it doesn't work at all,
it's like when you hold down the right click button that the left click button becomes useless.
Could anyone please help?

The Left and Right click buttons on the Touchpad work separately. They cannot be programmed to be used any other way. I have checked the HP Manual and cannot find any way to change them. Sorry, hope this helps.
There was an old Post back in Jun of 2015, https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebooks-Archive-Read-Only/left-and-right-click-buttons-on-touchpad-b..., but I do not believe it will work on your Laptop.
