Product: HP EliteBook 840 G2 Base Model Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My issue is, my touchpad does not work at all ant it does not appear in the setting of the mouse. There is the track pin (or how to call this thing between BGH keys), but not the touchpad. My issues begun, when it stopped working after waking up from sleep for the n-th time. This time I decided to find a solution. Gone to the HP page and downloaded the last driver. Updated it. To my amazement the tauchpad vanished from settings. Now I can not find it. No reinstallation of drivers help. Please advice me, what I can do.

I need the touchpad. Would be nice, if the smaller issue of not working after waking up form sleep would go too, but is not a must have. First priority is to make it work at all.
