Product: HP Elite Dragonfly Notebook PC IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Recently after a Windows update my touchscreen stopped working. I have tried the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics with no success. Have tried windows updates and even searched for the Touchscreen driver in Device Manager. The Touchscreen Driver is not showing in the Device Manager and the Wacom Device is showing a status message of 

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

A request for the HID descriptor failed.

 

Feel like I have tried everything and cannot find anything about re-installing the missing Touchscreen Driver on windows 11. Is this a common issue? Is the driver even available or compatible on windows 11 or is the Touchscreen useless on my laptop on windows 11?

Hopefully this DriverEasy software is useful for you.

But, I remember that on the HP Dragonfly series laptops there is software called HP Image Assistant (HPIA) for various solutions, This is the description of HPIA.
