I have an ASUS MODEL MB 166C Travel Monitor - the monitor has a USBC DP Alt Mode Port.
My lap HP -
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1334U 1.30 GHz
8gb Ram
HP 15 fd0xx -- BOUGHT FROM WM
only has a standard USBC port.
How can I get this travel monitor to work without buying a new monitor or laptop?
bought ACER 9-1 HUBODK390 plugged into the wall plugged into the PC, nothing is working.
Thank you.

Hi @guge81
The USB-C port is not DisplayPort compatible, only purchased DisplayLink compatible dock can use that port. This dock works through software and hardware.
I leave the link so you can check a model you are interested in and then search for a reseller.
