Product: Pavilion DV7 4040 ed

I try to install a second screen on windows 10 which was working via windows 7 via HDMI

The Laptop will see only one screen now.

@Wichert Does this mean you've got one monitor connected to the laptop and you've now connected a second monitor that doesn't work? Do both monitors work fine when connected one at a time? If you haven't tried that yet, please do and let me know.

 

Meanwhile, I suggest you update the BIOS, Chip-set and Graphics card using this link: Click here to find and install the same.
