HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to connect my Reverb G2 VR to my ASUS ROG G15 Gaming Laptop.  AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz.  Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070.  I am seeing the Error Code 1-4.  I am using Windows 10.

The Reverb G2 comes with a DisplayPort connection whereas my laptop only has HDMI connection. I purchased an female DisplayPort to HDMI adapter which say its capable of 4K an 60Hz. I can hear sound through the Reverb G2 but not graphics at all.

I connected the Reverb G2 VR to my ASUS ROG Gaming Desktop and plug it in directly to the DisplayPort on the Graphics card and it works beautifully.   Out of curiousity, I tried connecting with the female DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and I did get the Error Code 1-4. Connected directly to the DisplayPort works fine.

Is there a solution to use the Reverb G2 with my laptop which is the reason why I purchased it so I can take it to my classroom for MSFS 2020 Flight Simulator
