Chrome OS

I have a 2 in 1 and when I use it in tablet mode the virtual keyboard covers the message typing area and I can't see what I'm typing.  Therefore I have to constantly use my physical keyboard.  So then what is the point of having a tablet mode?  I've tried to minimize the screen in the app/program I am using figuring if it was smaller I would have room to see my entry box for typing in but that doesn't work.  Got any ideas?

Please help?  I can't figure this one out?!

@Bonbon069 In case an installed extension or cache issue is causing this, please try browsing to chrome://settings/reset > Restore settings to their original defaults then restarting your Chromebook.

If the issue persist, let's perform a power reset as per HP standards:

  • Ensure your laptop is OFF.
  • Unplug all the external devices (If any).
  • Disconnect the power charger from the computer, and remove the battery.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
  • Connect the power supply (power adapter).
  • Press the power button to turn on your laptop.
  • Then put your battery back.
