Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Purchased a new G5 USB-C "dock" to connect 2 24" monitors. USB-C will not output video to monitors through either Display Port or HDMI through dock. I have tried everything I can think of but to no avail. I looked up the product spec and it says it should be supported. Help!!

The specs of your machine is

Does the dock charge your machine ? Can it work with ONE monitor or none ? What are the native resolution of your monitors ?

Regards.

I am currently using the laptop power adapter for laptop charging, just using the USB-C and dock for monitors. The monitors are native 1920x1080 (Dell 24 Monitor - S2421HSX)

I don't think this is related, but I am getting a message from the HP support assistant that the battery is weak (even though it shows full charge).

On the Windows side I do see the dock in Device Manager, but get the message showing 'Display connection might be limited".

Appears this laptop, even though it says video is supported via USB-C, does not permit Alt-Mode for DisplayPort. A different laptop I have does and the dock works fine.

It is related because it shows the dock is compatible of your machine or not. Is it an HP dock or something else ? If HP dock, what is it ?

It is an HP dock, G5.

Please update firmware of the dock. I'm using it on my HP machine now. I tested 3 FHD monitors (on 3 ports on the dock) 1 from Dell,  1 from LG and 1 from Asus and they all worked. I don't have 4K monitor to test.

I also use the dock to power my HP machine when the lid closed.

Thanks. I have already done the firmware update, no change.
