Pavilion 14-ce0505sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi - I have just purchased a Pavilion 14-ce0505sa and tried hooking it up to a USB-C Display adaptor and it does not work.  Is this something anyone else has experienced?

 

The spec on the HP website says the port supports display so I am a little confused.

Are you using a straight display port cable or an adapter to connect the monitor?

 

Try the monitor on another computer to ensure that the monitor is functional?

 

Do you have a Thunderbolt logo on the USB Type-C port?

 

Could you please share the screen shot of the ports available on your notebook. So that I can provide you with accurate information which should help you resolve this issue.
