Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello,
Just arrive to HP world. I have a HP EliteBook x360 1030 G7 that is working pretty nice. I upgraded my screen to LG 34WP75C-B to join the ultrawide world!
My effort is to connect only one cable from monitor to laptop and get power and video over it. Both specs looks OK. USB-C, 65W, DP alt mode, etc
No luck right now.
- Connecting monitor to any of the USB-C, laptop screen keep blinking like "trying it" but no power and no display.
- Connecting monitor to any of the USB-C AND original charger connected on the second port. I have "half screen" on the display. Curiously, if I unplug power, the video is still at the big screen (but still no power).
At this point, I am not sure if it's a screen problem o laptop problem. LG claims that the monitor works with all vendors and it just plug and play. So I am assuming the problem-solution is at the latop. Any ideas?
Thanks!
