For several months I have been using the USB-C port on my notebook connected to a monitor, but as of today it no longer recognizes any monitor. The USB C port does recognize other devices such as a mouse or keyboard, but it does not recognize any monitor.

 

When performing a test on the USB ports I got the following errorTest USB FAIL - HP.jpeg

Both ports or only 1 port ? Mine is on one port, the one which is near its USB-A port.  I'm using HDMI port now and have not tried back. I will buy a dock later to test.
