HP ENVY 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-ep1000 (322X6AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi I've been running external monitors from USB-C ports through an HDMI adapter. Never had any issues. Now all of a sudden they aren't working, they just say there is no  DP signal form the device. I've tried installing windows update. Checking the drivers which did say there was an issue but it was fixed however after restarting the computer still no luck. Anyone have any ideas what I need to do to get these working again? Thank you!

I have the same exact issue. I purchase my HP Envy (Model: 322X6AV) a few months ago. I have been using an Onn USB 8-in-1 for ethernet connection, USB access, and HDMI support for a second external monitor. This has been working for two months now and as of seven days ago the HDMI support no longer works. My coworker who has a 1 model version older HP Envy had the same thing happen to her USB-C to hub w/HDMI. She ended up purchasing a Dell DS3100 (and waiting several months for it). She uses the USB-A connection vs. the USB-C adapter and it works perfectly fine. I know we are not the only ones with this issue, and it is frustrating knowing that something that worked perfectly fine now no longer works. I have a feeling this may have been some proprietary or "approved" equipment move that happened through a recent update.

**** So I performed a hard reset a handful of times (four to be exact) and the last time I did it I was able to get it working again. Unplug everything from your computer (USB devices, Power Cable, HDMI cords, etc.), shutdown all programs (save your work first), and hold down the power button for 15-30 seconds. Turn your computer back on, let it cycle through it's boot test then login when prompted. Let all applications and system tray applications load as necessary. Plug your power cable back in, and then continue to plug in each peripheral one at a time. Eventually when I got to my USB-C to HDMI it recognized my monitor and jumped to my previous display settings. Hopefully this helps!****
