HP Laptop 15-ef0xxx
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi HP Community,

I bought the following USB-C to HMDI cable from amazon:

TWOPAN USB C Hub HDMI 4K, 5-in-1 USB C to USB Hub 4 Ports, USB Hub Multiport Adapter, USB C Splitter for Laptop, New iMac 24" 2021, MacBook Pro/Air, iPad Pro , Chromebook, Pixelbook, Yoga, XPS https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D8H6K6S/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_KW49QHC67NW6D3S210RY?_encoding=UTF8&p...

I want to connect a third display to my laptop but when i use this my laptop is not detecting the third display.

I have updated my BIOS, all my drivers, I updated to windows 11, restarted laptop, tried extending displays, you name it!

Could it be that my laptop is not compatible with this type pf connection/cable?

Product name : HP Laptop 15-ef0xxx

Product number : 9LK80UA#ABA

Processor name : AMD Ryzen 7 3700U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx

Any suggestions?

Hello

reading your notebook documentation, I read that USB-C port support ONLY data transfer not external display

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 15 Laptop PC

so you are right , it's not compatible for the HDMI video output.
