Hello there!
I currently have 1 HDMI port on this laptop which I use. I want to connect a second monitor, and have tried a few USB and USB-C to VGA and HDMI adapters. I first tried USB/USB-C to HDMI but that didn't work, however in the product specification pdf it says that USB-C to VGA is a compatible accessory for this specific device.
I have tried USB and USB-C to VGA, and tried many fixes to get it to work, however it just doesn't work and is not being detected.
Can someone possibly help me out here?
Thank you very much.

Hi @Creavite
Yes, you must use a DisplayLink compatible dock. USB ports on the device are not DisplayPort compatible
External I/O Ports | 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate; 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate; 1 USB 2.0 Type-A (HP Sleep and Charge); 1 HDMI 2.0; 1 RJ-45; 1 AC smart pin; 1 headphone/microphone combo |
