HP Laptop 14-cf0xxx, Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

I am looking for a USB-C travel hub that is portable with my HP Note book HP Laptop 14-cf0xxx. I have bought 3  usb-c hubs from amazon including one from HP ( HP USB-C Travel Hub G2) and they have all not worked ( not compatible with my laptop). Is there anyone who has some suggestions which USB-C hub would be compatible? Am tired of returning these things to Amazon.

Not all USB-C ports are the same. I don't know what is your HP Laptop 14-cf0xxx machine but it should have same ports as the following machine

                   HP Notebook - 14-cf0006dx

 which are

1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s); 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only); 1 HDMI 1.4b. 1 RJ-45; 1 headphone/microphone combo

Depending on what you need when traveling but  it ONLY has 1  USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine
  • Connect to an external monitor with / without hub/dock/adapter

In short: No REAL USB-C dock is available for your machine.

Regards.
