Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

trying to plug in  a second monitor using USB-c port with an adapter. port not working

Specs of the series shows it has

 

  • (1) USB Type-C (Alt Mode)
  • (2) USB 3.1 Gen 1 (1 Charging)
  • (1) HDMI 2.0
  • (1) RJ-45/Ethernet port
  • (1) Headphone/microphone combo jack
  • (1) AC power port

Which cable and adapter do you use ? That port should work with an external monitor
