I'm trying to setup two external monitor on my HP 15S-FQ5348TU. When I use USBC to HDMI, it doesn't work. No display appears in my monitor. But the the direct HDMI port works.
If I connect the same USBC to HDMI to another HP laptop (Elitebook 840 G6), it works perfectly fine. Display appears in the two external monitors (USB-C and direct HDMI).
Is this a hardware or driver issue on my HP 15S? How can I fix this?

Its specs HP 15S-FQ5348TU . It ONLY has 1 hopeless SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
Other option (USB-A dock) : https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05357751
