Hello.

My notebook's current display panel is 17 inch HD+Brightview. Is it possible to upgrade it to Full HD display?

If it is, is the Full HD panel limited to an HP-manufactured panel only? Or to some specific types?

Thank you for your kind advice.

There are no restrictions on upgrading the Display to FDH as long as the warranty expired since this would void the warranty

You can refer to the Service Guide for help in replacing the Display http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04091762

Have a great day 😊
