I’d like to know if it’s possible to upgrade my laptop screen to 1080p  or at least upgrade to one with more resolution

Yes you can upgrade the screen to 1080p but this will void the Warranty

My laptop is out of warranty, can you point me to a compatible1080p screen replacement? Any 40pin connector screen will work? Or just some specific ones?

Else you might need to check with the local computer stores
