I am thinking of buying a SAMSUNG 32 inch UJ59 4k monitor (LU32J590UQNXZA) - UHD, 3840 x 2160p, 60hz, 4ms monitor as an external monitor for my laptop. I understand that the HDMI port on my laptop can only support it at 30 Hz.
Can I use a USB-C to HDMI connector to connect to the monitor? As I understand I can get 60Hz using this approach.
My other option is to go for a LG 34WK650-W 34" UltraWide 21:9 IPS Monitor with HDR10 and FreeSync (2018). But it is not 4K.
Thanks.

Its specs shows it ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable
Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
For more connectivity, please use

HP does not list all information of your machine
https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=4P5Z0UA
Therefore I can't find its USB-C specs because all USB-C parts are not the same. You have to wait few more weeks for HP to update documents and currently the server is down.

@Banhein,
Thanks for all your help. I noticed this page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-14-inch-laptop-pc-14-d4000/2100852819/model/2100892846/docum...
However, I do not see enough info to confirm that USB Type-C can support USB-HDMI adapter.
Thanks,
VFPete
