Product: HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D119AV)

I have a Dell E2220H monitor w/ a Dell dp to hdmi connector plugged in to my HP 15-dy2193dx (544Q0UA)  Windows 11 Home. When I turn on the monitor it says No DP Signal from device.

I opened the control panel and went to display then multiple displays then clicked on detect and it returned that it was unable to detect another monitor.

I downloaded the Dell E2220H drivers, restarted my laptop .

No change. 

Also updated the monitor drivers from device manager. Restarted my laptop. No change.

 

Am I out of luck here ????

Sorry I don't know how do you connect them. The Dell E2220H has HDMI port and your machine also has HDMI port. How to you connect to DP port, is it for another monitor ?
