I've had this laptop for a little over a year and its becoming impossible to do the work I need to do. I'm really agitated, because I've updated the drivers, I've updated windows, I've performed Dead Pixel screen fixes and nothing is working. After spending countless hours trying to fix this, I'm about to give up. It gets worse when I plug it in to charge.

I bought this laptop under the impression is was pretty hefty for Photography and Basic Video Editing, but it's proven me wrong.

If someone could give me any advice on how to fix this, that would be great.

The product is out of warranty, and I can't afford to drop a ton of money just to fix the display.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting vertical and horizontal lines on the display.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp105501-106000/sp105614.exe

Graphics: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-spectre-15-ch000-x360-convertible-pc/16779588/mo...

NOTE: Before installing the graphics driver, please make sure to uninstall the one installed on the computer.

If you continue facing the issue, then boot to BIOS (Restart the computer and start tapping F10 to boot to BIOS) and check whether you see the lines in the BIOS screen.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
