Product: HP Spectre x360 - 13-ap0023dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My Spectre x360 runs at 4K resolution and 60Hz refresh rate.
When I connect it to external display via USB-C docking station the refresh rate drops to 30Hz which looks quite bad even when moving mouse cursor, not to mention browser scrolling.
I tried Belkin and Thinkpad docking stations, both HDMI and DP cables. Only HD (1920p) resolution can reach 60Hz, anything above it drops to 30Hz.
Is it a known limitation? Do I need a special docking station?
Thanks.
