Hello,

I have a new Samsung S34C65 with a USB-C connector that powers up my laptop and connects the display.
Now I would like the laptop to start as I connect this connector and would not need to open the lid and start up the computer from the power button.

 

Is this possible and what setting do I need to set on for this?

Sounds like your Samsung S34C65  is NOT compatible with your machine. I'm using HP USB-C G5  (5TW10AA) now with SINGLE cable setup. I can turn on the dock my machine will also turn on (no need to open the lid) and when I turn off the machine the dock will turn off.

This could be the reason even I am not 100 % sure about it.
I need to try with another power supply etc.
