HP laptop 15-bs193od has no way to disable touchpad when mouse is used and it constantly causes problems with keyboard entry.  Drivers don't even mention touchpad and even regedit suggestions don't match.  How to disable this troublemaker?

Hey Hp Community,

This model can be frustrating because HP didn’t include a clear touchpad disable option in the BIOS or standard drivers. A practical workaround is to install the official Synaptics or ELAN touchpad driver directly from HP’s support page for the 15-bs193od, as this often unlocks additional settings like “Disable touchpad when external mouse is connected” in Mouse Properties. If that still doesn’t appear, using Device Manager to manually disable the touchpad or a small third-party utility to toggle it on and off can help reduce accidental typing issues while using an external mouse.

Thanks!
