Hi all,
my Spectre x360 webcams it seems working in IR mode "always on": when I use it (videocall, photo, skype or others) my image is "violet". I mean, a lot of colors are moving on violet gradations but I can't find any function to manage webcam settings.
Thanks
Luca

Hi @Luk317
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the Webcam issue.
IR webcam is used to recognize your face during logins or while accessing the apps.
Regarding the video quality issue, let's try these steps -
1.) Using the search box on the taskbar, search for and open Device Manager.
2.) In the Device Manager window, double-click Imaging devices, right-click the name of the IR camera, and then select Uninstall device.
3.) Select Delete the driver software for this device, and then click Uninstall.
4.) Restart the computer.
Also, try updating the computer using these steps -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
