Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP 15-d049se Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)

I have this notebook and the webcam isnt working!!! I unfortunately don't know the webcam name... But probably its a HP TrueVision HD the Imaging Devices isn't listed in the Devices Manager so I downloaded Cyberlink 7.0 but I still can't see it however the "CyberLink Webcam Virtual Driver 7.0" Can be found in the "Sound,video and game controllers" tab in the devices manager... PLEASE HELP!!! I USE MY WEBCAM ALOT! I NEED IT

It was a MISTAKE to buy an HP Notebook, Just get a USB Webcam plug it in and there you go! Never buy HP Notebooks again.

Try installing this first.

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64001-64500/sp64395.exe

 

Reboot.

 

Then try to install this.

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp65501-66000/sp65795.exe

 

Reboot.

I ALSO HAD WEBCAM PROBLEM AFTER UP GRADE TO WIN 10  SOLUTION IS A FIX FROM MICGROSOFT KB3176938 IT FIXES PROBLEM GOT WIN10 UPDATES AND DOWLOAD THE UP DATE IT WAS RELEASED 8/31/16 IT ALSO FIXES CORTANA NOT REPLYING TO YOUR VOICE
