HP Spectre x360 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 16-f0000 (39H22AV)
Ubuntu LTS

Dear all,

When I bought my HP spectre laptop last month, I installed directly Ubuntu 22.04. Google meet, zoom and all those applications report that the webcam has not been found. I can speak and look to people, but they cannot see me.

What can be done so that my built-in webcam works?

Thanks!

The issue is not related to the Switch on the keyboard (to close or open the camera). Even when the switch is changed, the camera is not found.

How to make the webcam work?

I have the same problem for the same laptop bought on Dec 1. I see no replies yet. I'm running dual boot Ubuntu 22.04.5 with gnome-session installed. I see no entry for the camera in lsusb or lspci output.  It works fine in Windows. Is this a USB or PCI camera?
