Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi there, I would like to use a stylus pen with my convertible laptop. I have contacted HP. They say the laptop (from 2016) is not supported anymore and they can't say which pen would work with it. But I would like to try to get a second hand pen anyway. Can anybody help me which model pen I should look for? Thank you.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

I did not find anything in the service guide for a supported pen on this series.

That generally means the computer does NOT support an active stylus / pen.

====================

If you wish to do so,

If your computer has a touchscreen,

When an active stylus is not an option on your machine,

Consider a Passive Stylus / Pen

Capacitive / Passive pen is not the same thing as an active stylus, of course.

Passive pen works like your finger on the touchscreen.

Hi Dragon-Fur, thanks a lot for the helpful post clarifying that I can't use an active stylus. I assume I have a capacitive  touchscreen to use a passive one?
