Product: HP Spectre 15-eb1 x360 Convertible Laptop PC IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

When I close my laptop and then reopen it my screen want come back on with out me doing a hard shut down and then turning it back on. This has happened before. The last time I had to let someone from HP take control of my laptop and they went in and updated something and fixed the problem. But I don't remember what they did. It has been several years

You have to set up what it should do when you close the lid then open the lid. Please use the following Guide

 

                  Windows 11 when close lid
