Microsoft Windows 11

I was helping a friend who bought a new laptop that came with Windows 11. She needed help getting started, configuring it, connecting to her home wifi, etc.  When we came to any screen with a password, it was a huge chore because she uses complicated passwords, and the eye icon only briefly flashed the visible text.  Let me explain. After clicking the eye icon, she could read whether she had mistyped.  But if she had mistyped, and then placed her cursor back into the password to change it, the field changed back to *****. About the only way she could correct a password was to erase and start over.  Is there some special combination of characters that HP requires to permanently reveal a password while typing it?

That is the way it works. But on some sites, it allows to keep longer. In short, depending on where you are or keep Show password or keep the pointer stay at that point. Why you wish to allow password to be seen by everyone ?

Regards.
