Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0000 (172Z8AV)

Hi,

Would you please recommend which docking station is proper for HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-Eg0000 (172Z8AV)?

I found in the HP website support page that my Pavilion supports via USB-C the following:

Ports
1 USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge);
2 USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate; 1 AC smart pin; 1 HDMI 2.0; 1 headphone/microphone combo
 
Looking at this I assume that HP USB-C Dock G5 should be OK to display on 2 monitors via DP 4K?
Here is the dock specification excerpt:
External monitor support For hosts that support DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression:
3x FHD @ 60 Hz
3x QHD @ 60 Hz
3x 4k @ 60 Hz
For hosts that support DisplayPort 1.3/1.4:
3x FHD @ 60 Hz
3x QHD @ 60 Hz
2x 4K @ 60 Hz
 
My concern is that when I connected (for testing) this Pavilion to DELL monitor P2418D - equipped with USB-C input, which works with another laptop (HP Elitebook 8350) - Pavilion does not recognize monitor via USB-C.
 
What do you think?
