The current AMD driver for the A8-7410 APU with R5 graphics + R5 M330 discrete GPU does not work correctly, the discrete GPU is never active whatever settings in display settings of Windows 10. In previous versions of that driver the GPU settings have been part of the AMD software, but that has been removed because now Windows 10 controls the GPUs.
The problem is described here https://community.amd.com/t5/graphics/missing-switchable-graphics-option/m-p/134775 (see the last three posts). But the mentioned older driver creates problems with some programs.
The AMD support told me I should try the (older) driver provided by HP for that notebook. There are 5 drivers for download https://support.hp.com/de-de/drivers/selfservice/hp-15-ba000-notebook-pc-series/10862317/model/13110...
3 versions for general HD graphics driver and 2 for Carrizo-L.
I found contradictory information about the A8-7410 APU on the internet: It were member of Puma, Mullins or Carrizo-L family. The hardware information software I used on my notebook says it is Mullins.
So I don't know which driver is the correct one for my notebook.

Your answer brought me on the track for a solution.
I started the installation of the driver pack you recommended and saw that the start screen has a compatibility list - and R5 was missing.
That made me try the latest driver pack on the hp page for my notebook and R5 was listed in the compatibility list. It is now the fourth day with that driver an it worked correct so far. That's the good news.
Unfortunately for all video players and the browser Firefox using the discrete GPU is locked "for compatibility reasons". That may be the best to get out of an outdated driver for my notebook. It is a pity that hp and AMD cannot provide a driver that supports the latest versions of these programs in the latest version of Windows.
But for the programs that are not locked the discrete GPU can be controlled.

Hi:
I explored the file contents of all the drivers on your notebook's support page and I can't find one of them that has driver support for the R5 M330 discrete graphics adapter. They are all for the M4xx series.
I did find this one that appears to have support for both the onboard R5 graphics and the M330 graphics.
You may want to give this one a try...
