White spots on HP victus 15 laptop screen

Hello. A few months ago, I found some spots (white) that appeared on my laptop that would not go away no matter how much I tried...I did tests and color changes and everything and it didn't work..Now more spots are appearing, they are more faint but still visible. Why is this happening? I tried with HP when laptop was still in warranty but they said it's not covered, now it's out of warranty and more spots appearing...what is this screen quality?
