Well, I think the issue is in the version.

Here's what I mean :

The version I already had: 20.19.15.5063                   ||               The version you had: xx.xx.xx.xxxx

The update I got: 15.40.45.5126                                   ||               The update you got:  20.19.15.5126    (As you have stated)

You can clearly see the difference in the version of both updates. Why am I getting an older version on the same link? I don't get it. Can you please try resending the link? Or any other solution?

Hi:

You got the same version...5126 is all you need to be concerned about.

My adapter is the HD 4400 so the 20.19.15. is probably just for the HD 4400

So, it worked just fine if you got 5126 dated 1.21.2020

The March date is just the release date of the driver file.

Well, I uninstalled my driver and installed the one you gave me the link to.

Everything worked fine...

But when I just clicked the "check for updates online" option in the device manager yo make sure it is the latest. It found an update and installed it. After that, I found that it had installed my old driver again dated:29/10/2018

What should I do now? Why did the device manager install it? should I again update to the one you gave me the link to?

Yes, repeat the process and use the hide updates utility to prevent the windows update Intel driver from installing.

Use the version for W10 1607

Hiding the driver update is permanent unless you uncheck it after you run the tool again.
