I have been using HP Chromebook since I purchased it in November 2021. I noticed that LED light always flashes white after I charge the battery. The battery icon shows it is 100% full. This happens when the lid is closed. When I raise the lid and start using Chromebook, the light is off. I am puzzled by this.
I checked the battery test. It shows over 99% healthy! It makes no sense to me. Even when the battery is very low, the light does not turn into amber!
I have another Chromebook, 4 year old Asus brand, that never flashes. When Asus is on the light is solid green. When its battery is very low, it is flashing amber.
I read an article that suggested flashing light means the chromebook is in shipping mode, turn it off, charge it for 30 minutes. Turn it back on, and the LED light should stop blinking. Is that the answer?

Hi @Geoky10,
I'd like to help!
I understand the LED light keeps flashing.
If a new notebook computer is used for the first time, a white LED near the AC power connector blinks, which indicates the battery is still in Shipping Mode.
To resolve it -
Turn off the notebook, connect the AC power and allow the battery to charge for at least 30 minutes, and then start the computer.
Also, try a reset on your Chromebook.
