Product: HP Pro x360 Fortis 11 inch G9 Notebook PC (48B45AV)

I have gotten an HP ProBook x360 11 Fortis G9 from my school, but the pen doesn't work. The Notebook I mentioned has an extra charging space at the top of the keyboard, when I got the notebook the pen was in there. When the pen's in there, the lamp indicator thing is glowing white, but when I take it out nothing happens, the light goes out and on the notebook there's this little popup at the bottom that let's me choose between whiteboard and snippet. But the pen doesn't work, like I can tzry to draw all i want, the pen is not working. I tried holding the button to maybe power it on or something but it just doesn't work. Since my school's closed for a week I've tried looking online and tried downloading the drivers, maybe it'll fix the issue but no, I need admin rights, and i obviously don't have 'em. Can someone please help me? like, did anyone else have this issue??
