Hello I have an HP Laptop - 15z-fc000, 15.6" Product number: 741Q9AV. I got an HP docking station hp usb c dock g5. When I plug my dock into my USB c port (with monitors connected to the dock), I get a message: 'Display connection might be limited' make sure the display port you are connecting is compatible with your PC.
My main goal is to attach two external monitors so I can have three screen including my laptop. How can I achieve this? Would I need to buy a different dock/dongle?

Iis specs
It ONLY has one hopeless USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (supports data transfer only and does not support charging or external monitors) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
In short: It is NOT compatible with your HP USB-C G5 dock nor any USB-C docks.
