I have a HP Laptop 14-fq0xxx, a dell K17A001 docking station and 2 dell monitors. I have been able to get the dell monitor connected via HDMI directly to the laptop and it works. I want both monitors to work with the laptop so I have a docking station. I connected the monitors to the docking station via HDMI and a VGA chord and connected the docking station to the laptop via USB C and it will not work. Light on the docking station is on, but nothing is connecting.
How do I find out if it is possible to have 2 monitors with this laptop and further if the monitors can be connected via docking station to this laptop. I have disconnected and reconnected, shut down, etc.

- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
