Product: 17-cp3055cl

Looking at buying the 17-cp3055cl from Costco but I need to feed a 4k monitor.  Will this output 4k resolution?  Thanks.

the HDMI port is 1.4b which supports 4k at a frequency of 30 hz.

 

HDMI Specification 1.4b

 

I note that this model's own display does not have a very good resolution: 17.3” diagonal, HD+ (1600 x 900), touch, BrightView, 250 nits, 60% NTSC.

Thanks very much for the quick response.  I appreciate the advice.  I am mostly going to use with a monitor so the screen resolution doesn't really bother me.
