So, after a period of time, my computer mouse freezes and i cant click. i also noticed the finger print sensor stops working too. any USB mouse doesn't work when this occurs. its hard to manually trigger this issue. after the mouse is frozen, after like 2 or 3 minutes, the computer gets blue screened. it automatically restarts and everything is fine again. this is terrible when I'm trying to install larger downloads. I had triggered it once, by unplugging the laptop. couldn't trigger it again afterwards. maybe a coincidence? too many apps open? Windows disabling the device to save power?
The next day I had unplugged my laptop and my mouse had stopped working again USB ports stopped working, and finger print sensor. I tried plugging my device in, but it didn't detect charging. Maybe windows is powering off a device to save power, but can no longer turn it on? in device manager, going "Universal serial Bus controllers" Going to both root hubs, and turning off "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power" in "Power management" But came to no avail. same issue. mouse and synaptic doesn't have this tab. HELP!
