So when you try and log into my wife's laptop it will just go to a black screen with the cursor for 5 to 10 minutes. This issue used to just happen every once in a while and a restart usually fixed it. Now it seems to be every time you log in and it got frustrating so I did some reading and troubleshooting and finally found out it is the app readiness service. If you use keyboard shortcuts to get to task manager and stop the appreadiness service the home screen appears right away.  Once I figured this out I did some more reading and troubleshooting and have found nothing that works to have the appreadiness service set to manual and have her laptop boot like normal.

If anyone knows a fix for this please let me know, Im starting to get frustrated with this laptop. It has been nothing but a issue since we bought it. I have had 5 or 6 HP laptops in the past with no issues.
