So for a year now I've had a yellow line that goes from the top of my screen to the bottom, I've tried factory resetting my PC to see if it'd help and it didn't. I just need to know what it is and how much it might cost to get it fixed.

Hello @Taehyung

A year is a long time to put up with a faulty screen.

Most likely, there is a loose wire somewhere in the connection from motherboard to screen, or there is a loose connector inside the screen itself.

If you Google vertical lines in laptop screens, you will find examples of how others have fixed the issue with tape, cardboard pieces and such.

I would try re-seating the ribbon cable and also press around the screen to see if you find the spot that removes the line.

Here is the manual for your model starting on page 55.

Otherwise, you will need to replace the screen and cable (best method).

Here is one store that specializes in laptop screens that offers your model. They ship internationally.

Hope it helps.
