HP Compaq 6510b Notebook PC

I've got an old HP Compaq 6510b running Windows 11.

Yes I know it's old before you say anything lol. But I'm a bit of a wiz when it comes to computers, especially older one's, like me lol.

It was only supposed to have Windows 7 as it only has a T.P.M. of 1.2 and not 2.0 as Microsoft recommends, but I got around that, amongst other things.

It's been really great and is pretty fast, especially with booting up and how quickly it can operate, even when I have multiple tabs open all at once. As Harrison Ford once said about his Millennium Falcon, "It's the fastest hunk a junk in the galaxy" And mine is.

But the screen has had a Yellowish Tint, even when it had Windows 7. It's really off putting and no matter what I've tried from turning off the night light to trying to reset the colour profile to sRGB IEC61966-2.1

But nothing seems to work.

I've even tried that program for several hours on U-Tube that repairs dead pixels, even though I haven't any.

Any suggestions anyone?

Go into power settings, adjust what battery mode does. Because whats probably happening is that whilst on battery mode the night setting may still be on or the brightness mode may be decreased while in Battery mode.

Hope that helps you.
